French risk management company Coface’s ranking of the 50 largest companies by turnover in the Baltic States in 2024 includes 28 companies in Lithuania, 15 in Estonia, and 7 in Latvia, LETA reports. The top five companies are all from Lithuania: retail holding group Vilniaus Prekyba with a consolidated turnover of EUR 8.02bn in 2024, retailer group Maxima Grupe with EUR 6.1bn, Polish-owned oil company Orlen Lietuva with EUR 5.87bn, energy group Ignitis Grupe with EUR 2.3bn, and supermarket chain Maxima LT with EUR 2.2bn. Estonian transport services provider Bolt Technology ranks sixth with an annual turnover of EUR 1.99bn, followed by Estonia’s state-owned energy group, Eesti Energia, with EUR 1.79bn, Latvian power utility Latvenergo with EUR 1.70bn, Lithuanian pharmacy group Euroapotheca with EUR 1.66bn, and Lithuanian wholesale company Sanitex Group with EUR 1.65bn.
