Estonia: Centre Party gains on Fatherland in new party poll

Estonia’s national-conservative opposition party, Fatherland (Isamaa), continued as the country’s most popular political party in December 2025, according to Kantar Emor’s latest poll, ERR reports. Support for Fatherland stood at 24%, which was down from 26% in January 2025. Left-of-centre opposition Estonian Centre Party (Keskerakond) came second with 21% (13%), followed by opposition Social Democratic Party (SDE) with 15% (16%), ruling Estonian Reform Party with 14% (16%), and opposition Conservative People’s Party of Estonia (EKRE) with 12% (14%). Right-Wingers (Parempoolsed), currently not in parliament, had 9% (7%) support. Meanwhile, support for all other parties was below the 5% election threshold. Another 25% of respondents had no party preference. Fatherland’s support among Estonian-speakers was 27%, followed by SDE with 17%, Reform with 16%, EKRE with 14%, and Right-Wingers and the Centre Party with 10% both. Among non-Estonians, the Centre Party had 73% support, followed by Fatherland with 7% and pro-Russian Together (KOOS) with 6%.
