Estonia’s consumer price index (CPI) rose by 6.4% on year in July 2023, according to data from Statistics Estonia, ERR reports. Prices of goods rose by 8.1% and services by 3.1%. The increase in food and non-alcoholic beverage prices accounted for more than half of the total rise in consumer prices. At the same time, petrol prices declined by 16.4%, diesel fuel by 23.4%, and natural gas by 66.8% over a year. Compared to June 2023, consumer prices fell by 0.6%.
