Estonia’s exports of goods totalled nearly EUR 1.5bn in February 2026, which was down 1% from the same period of 2025, according to data from Statistics Estonia, ERR reports. Imports of goods totalled nearly EUR 1.9bn, which was up 6% over a year. Estonia’s monthly trade deficit thus amounted to EUR 426mn, which was EUR 132mn more than in February 2025. Goods of Estonian origin accounted for 61% of total exports, which was down from 65% a year earlier. Exports of goods of Estonian origin fell by 8% on year. Estonia’s main categories of exports were electrical equipment, agricultural and food products, and wood and wood products. The largest export markets were Finland, Latvia, and Sweden. The main categories of imports were mineral products, electrical equipment, and agricultural and food products. The biggest sources of imports were Latvia, Finland, and Germany.
