Estonia’s exports of goods totalled over EUR 1.3bn at current prices in July 2024, which was up 5% from the same period of 2023, according to data from Statistics Estonia, ERR reports. Meanwhile, imports of goods totalled nearly EUR 1.7bn, which was up 1% from a year earlier. Estonia’s trade deficit thus amounted to EUR 321mn, which was up EUR 59mn over a year. Exports of goods of Estonian origin rose by 12%, accounting for 64% (60%) of total exports. Re-exports fell by 5% over a year. Estonia’s main export markets were Finland (15%), Latvia (11%), and Lithuania (9%). The main sources of imports were Finland (12%), Germany (11%), and Lithuania (11%).
