Estonia’s bankrupt state-owned airline, Nordica, has shut down operations after the sale of all its leased aircraft to US-based Regional One, ERR reports. Nordica’s last jet, a Bombardier CRJ-900NG, took off from Tallinn Airport on 31 March 2026. The planes had been leased to Nordica’s subsidiary, Regional Jet (Xfly), which has filed for bankruptcy as well. Nordica began operations in 2015, ahead of the bankruptcy of Estonia’s national flag carrier, Estonian Air.
