Estonia’s services exports totalled EUR 3.1bn at current prices in the second quarter of 2024, which was up 3% from the same period of 2023, according to Statistics Estonia and the Bank of Estonia, ERR reports. Imports of services totalled EUR 2.3bn, which was up 3% as well. The balance of Estonia’s foreign trade in services thus showed a surplus of EUR 802mn, which was up EUR 39mn on year. Exports exceeded imports in most services. The top services exported included other business services, ICT services, and transport services. The main export markets for Estonian services were Finland (17%), the US (8%), and Germany (8%). Meanwhile, the top services imported to Estonia were other business services, transport services, and ICT services. The main importers were Finland (8%), Germany (8%), Lithuania (7%), and Latvia (7%).
