Latvia: Average wage rose to over EUR 1,800 in Q3/2025: statistics

Latvia’s average monthly gross wage amounted to EUR 1,835 in the third quarter of 2025, which was up 7.8% from the same period of 2024, according to data from the Central Statistical Bureau (CSP), LSM reports. The average wage rose by 8.1% in the private sector and 7.1% in the public sector. The average hourly wage rose by 4.6% over a year to EUR 12.12. Compared to the second quarter of 2025, the average monthly wage rose by 1.5%, while the average hourly wage dropped by 4.5%. Meanwhile, the average monthly net wage amounted to EUR 1,361 in the third quarter of 2025, which was up 10.5% from a year earlier. The real net wage rose by 6.3% over a year. The median gross wage for full-time work stood at EUR 1,488 (up 7.5%) and the median net wage at EUR 1,135 (up 11.7%).
