Latvia’s industrial production rose by 1.4% on year in July 2024, according to the Central Statistical Bureau’s (CSP) calendar-adjusted data at constant prices, LSM reports. Output in manufacturing declined by 6.4%, while output in mining and quarrying increased by 6.1% and in electricity and gas supply by 66.0% over a year. Compared to June 2024, industrial production output rose by 0.9%, according to seasonally adjusted data at constant prices. Output in electricity and gas supply rose by 60.8%, while output in manufacturing fell by 2.1% and in mining and quarrying by 3.3% over a month. Manufacturing turnover dropped by 6.4% on year and 4.8% over a month.
