Latvia: New Unity retains lead in polls in July 2023: SKDS

Latvia’s ruling New Unity party retained its lead in opinion polls in July 2023, according to the latest SKDS survey, LSM reports. New Unity had the support of 12.6% of respondents, which was up from 11.5% in June 2023. The Union of Greens and Farmers (ZZS) came in second with 8.0% support (7.5%), followed by the Progressives with 7.9% (9.0%), Latvia First with 7.4% (10.0%), National Alliance with 5.3% (6.6%), For Stability with 5.1% (5.0%), United List with 4.6% (5.8%), and Harmony with 3.6% (4.2%). No other party had more than 2% support. Around 23% of respondents were undecided, and another 14.4% said that they had no intention to vote.
