Latvian restaurant operator Rosinter Restaurants, which owned the IL Patio, Planeta Sushi, and TGI Fridays restaurants in Riga, has been liquidated, TVNET reports. The company was registered in 2004 and was one of the oldest catering companies in Latvia. The company initiated insolvency proceedings in autumn 2021. Rosinter Restaurants reported a turnover of EUR 1.4mn in 2020, which was down by half from the year before. The company’s annual loss increased by 68% to EUR 262,600. Rosinter Restaurants was affiliated with Russia’s Rosinter Restaurants Holding, which operates restaurants in Russia and CIS countries. The sole owner of Rosinter Restaurants was Cypriot-registered RRH-Central Europe Limited, which is owned by Venezuelan citizen Emilia Coromoto Garcia Lopez.
