Lithuania: Real estate value up 90% since 2020: data

The taxable value of real estate property in Lithuania has increased by 90% since the beginning of 2021, according to an assessment by the Centre of Registers, BNS reports. The tax value of residential property has roughly doubled, while the value of other real estate has increased by 60-100% over five years. Property values have risen the most (120%) in Palanga, Kaunas, and Birstonas, and the least (40-50%) in the Kalvarija, Kelme, Jurbarkas, Pakruojis, Joniskis, and Skuodas districts, and in Pagegiai. Residential property values have increased the most in Neringa, Kaunas, Klaipeda district, and Birstonas, and the least in the Kalvarija, Jurbarkas, Kelme, Sakiai, Vilkaviskis, and Joniskis districts.
