Lithuania’s GDP will grow by 2.5% in 2025, according to the Bank of Lithuania’s latest forecast, ELTA reports. In September 2025, the central bank projected that the country’s economy would grow by 2.7% in 2025. The bank now expects the GDP to rise by 3.2% in 2026, by 2.3% in 2027, and by 3.0% in 2028. Investments will increase by 6.5% in 2025, by 11.5% in 2026, by 3.6% in 2027, and by 4.1% in 2028. Private consumption will go up by 2% in 2025, by 5.0% in 2026, by 0.4% in 2027, and by 4.8% in 2028. The central bank expects Lithuania’s total exports to grow by 4.3% in 2025, by 2.3% in 2026, and by 3.3% in both 2027 and 2028. Unemployment will reach 7.0% in 2025 and drop to 6.6% in 2026 and to 6.5% in 2027 and 2028. Average wages will rise by 8.4% in 2025, by 9.1% in 2026, and by around 7% in 2027 and 2028. Average annual inflation will reach 3.5% in 2025, falling to 3.1% in 2026, to 2.6% in 2027, and to 2.5% in 2028, the Bank of Lithuania projects.
