Estonia’s Ministry of Justice reported that 66% of legal entities submitted their annual reports for the 2023 fiscal year by the deadline of 1 July 2024, which is an improvement from just 56% a year earlier, ERR reports. A ministry official said that the better compliance was due to recent changes aimed at motivating timely submissions. Enhanced supervisory measures and streamlined processes for deleting and reinstating non-compliant entities also played a role in the increased compliance, the official said. However, 92,349 reports remain outstanding, indicating the need for further improvements.
