The Lithuanian Armed Forces (LGP) remain the country’s most trusted institution, according to a new Baltijos Tyrimai poll for LRT. The survey showed that 76% of respondents had confidence in LGP in June 2023. Another 71% trust the police, followed by the Catholic church with 66%, the president with 66%, the State Social Insurance Fund (SoDra) with 65%, municipal governments with 58%, and the national media with 50%. Meanwhile, 76% of Lithuanians do not trust the country’s parliament, the Seimas, followed by the government with 66% and the judiciary with 49%. Baltijos Tyrimai interviewed altogether 1,020 Lithuanian residents for the poll in June 2023.
