The average monthly gross wage in Estonia amounted to EUR 2,135 in the first quarter of 2026, which was up 6.2% from the same period of 2025, according to Statistics Estonia, ERR reported. Wages increased in all counties, rising by 6.5% to EUR 2,538 in Tallinn, by 6.3% to EUR 2,405 in Harjumaa county, and by 5.3% to EUR 2,129 in Tartumaa county. In terms of sectors of the economy, average wages rose by 15.4% in energy, 11.2% in agriculture, 7.4% in manufacturing, 6.5% in construction, and 5.5% in trade. Meanwhile, Estonia’s median wage stood at EUR 1,753, which was up 6% over a year.
