Estonia: Security firms report rise in turnover, profit in 2022

Estonia’s largest security firms increased their turnover and profit in 2022, ERR reports. G4S Eesti’s revenue totalled EUR 59.5mn in 2022, which was up 6% from 2021. The company’s annual profit amounted to EUR 1.9mn, which was up from a loss of EUR 300,000 a year earlier. G4S Eesti employed 1,880 people in 2022. Retail group Tallinna Kaubamaja Grupp’s (TKM Grupp) subsidiary, Viking Security, reported a turnover of EUR 15.2mn in 2022, which was up 10% from 2021. The company’s net profit stood at EUR 55,000, compared to a loss of EUR 27,000 in 2021. Viking Security employed 493 people at the end of 2022. Forus Security (former USS) reported a turnover of EUR 31mn in 2022, which was up 11% over a year. The company’s net profit rose from EUR 459,000 to EUR 695,000. Forus Security employed an average of 1,247 people in 2022.
