Latvia: Housing prices up 5.6% on year in Q2/2023: statistics

Average housing prices in Latvia rose by 5.6% in the second quarter of 2023, compared to the same period of 2022, according to the Central Statistical Bureau’s provisional data, LSM reports. Prices of newly-built housing increased by 15.0% and old housing by 3.2% over a year. Compared to the first quarter of 2023, housing prices rose by 5.1%, with prices of new dwellings up 7.7% and old dwellings by 4.3%. Compared to 2015, housing prices in Latvia have increased by as much as 95.9%, the statistical data show.
