Latvia: Industrial production up 7% in April 2026

Latvia’s industrial production output increased by 7.0% in April 2026, compared to the same period of 2025, according to the Central Statistical Bureau’s (CSP) calendar-adjusted data at constant prices, LSM reported. Output in manufacturing rose by 6.8% and in electricity and gas supply by 12.1%, while output in mining and quarrying fell by 8.3% over a year. Compared to March 2026, industrial output rose by 0.1%. CSP pointed out that significant changes in industrial production data were not unusual at this time of year. Meanwhile, manufacturing turnover increased by 9.5% over a year and 4.2% over a month, according to calendar and seasonally adjusted data at current prices. Industrial sales in the domestic market rose by 9.3% and in export markets by 9.5% on year.
