Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky will attend a summit meeting of the prime ministers of the Nordic-Baltic Eight (NB8) countries in the Estonian capital, Tallinn, on 9 June 2026, ERR reports. Zelensky will meet with Estonian President Alar Karis and Prime Minister Kristen Michal, while Ukraine’s Foreign Minister, Andrii Sybiha, will meet with his Estonian counterpart, Margus Tsahkna. The two presidents will discuss bilateral defence cooperation, Ukraine’s EU and NATO integration, European security, and increased pressure on Russia. The Baltic and Nordic prime ministers, together with Zelensky, will sign a declaration on deeper defence cooperation between Ukraine and the region, LSM reports. After their meetings, the Estonian president and the NB8 prime ministers will hold joint press conferences with Zelensky. Michal noted that the NB8 countries have provided more than EUR 42bn of support to Ukraine so far.
