The opposition Estonian Centre Party (Keskerakond) is now the most popular political party in Estonia, according to a new Turu-Uuringute poll, ERR reports. Support for the Centre Party rose from 23% in April 2026 to 25% in May 2026. The national-conservative opposition party, Fatherland (Isamaa), dropped to second place with 20% support, which was down from 24% in April 2026. Support for the opposition Social Democratic Party (SDE) stood at 14% (14%) and for the opposition Conservative People’s Party of Estonia (EKRE) also at 14% (11%). The ruling Estonian Reform Party had 11% (14%) and the non-parliamentary Right-Wingers (Parempoolsed) also 11% (8%) support in May 2026. Support for Reform’s coalition partner, Estonia 200 (E200), remained well below the electoral threshold at 2%. Meanwhile, another poll by Norstat for the Institute for Societal Research (YI) showed that Fatherland’s support was 25.8% in late April 2026, ERR reported. The Centre Party came in second with 22.4%, followed by EKRE with 13.9%, Reform with 12.1%, Right-Wingers with 6.1%, and E200 with 1.5%.
