The body of a fourth US Army soldier has been found at the Pabrade training area in eastern Lithuania, US Army Europe and Africa announced, LRT reports. Three of the four missing soldiers were found earlier after an M88 Hercules armoured vehicle was pulled out of a swamp at the training area. The rescue operation involving Lithuanian, US, Polish, and Estonian soldiers, officials, and civilians took seven days. The US military is investigating the cause of the incident, which occurred during a training exercise. Several hundred people, including local politicians and German troops stationed in Lithuania, gathered outside the US embassy in Vilnius to pay their respect to the perished US soldiers.
