Estonia’s exports of goods totalled almost EUR 1.8bn at current prices in April 2026, which was up 13% from the same period of 2025, according to Statistics Estonia, ERR reports. Exports of goods of Estonian origin rose by 10%, accounting for 61% of total exports. Re-exports increased by 19% over a year. Meanwhile, imports of goods into Estonia totalled nearly EUR 2.2bn in April 2026, which was up 12% from a year earlier. Estonia’s trade deficit thus amounted to EUR 365mn, which was up EUR 18mn from April 2025. Estonia’s main export markets were Finland (15% of total exports), Latvia (12%), and Lithuania (10%). The main sources of imports also were Finland, Latvia, and Lithuania, each accounting for 11% of total imports.
