Estonia’s GDP will decline by 0.4% in 2024, before rising by 1.9% in 2025 and 3.0% in 2026, according to the Bank of Estonia’s latest forecast, ERR reports. Annual inflation will reach 3.5% in 2024, rising to 3.9% in 2025 and then falling again to 3.6% in 2025, the central bank projects. Inflation will rise due to planned tax hikes and state-regulated prices. The gross monthly wage will grow by 6.9% in 2024, by 5.4% in 2025, and by 5.3% in 2026. The unemployment rate will remain at 7.6% over 2024-2026, the Bank of Estonia forecasts.
