Estonia’s national-conservative opposition party, Fatherland (Isamaa), remained the country’s most popular party in April 2026, according to Norstat’s poll for the Institute for Societal Research (YI), ERR reports. Fatherland’s support stands at 26.4%, followed by the opposition Estonian Centre Party (Keskerakond) with 22.4%, the populist opposition Conservative People’s Party of Estonia (EKRE) with 14.1%, and the opposition Social Democratic Party (SDE) with 14.0%. The ruling coalition’s Estonian Reform Party comes in fifth with 12.3% support, followed by the non-parliamentary Right-Wingers (Parempoolsed) with 6%. All other parties are clearly below the 5% electoral threshold. If elections were held now, Fatherland would increase its number of seats in parliament from the current 8 to 30, the Centre Party from 7 to 25, EKRE from 10 to 15, and SDE from 9 to 14 seats. Meanwhile, Reform’s number of seats would fall from the current 37 to 12, and Right-Wingers would enter parliament with 5 seats.
