Estonia: Supermarket revenue mostly flat in 2025

Most major grocery retail chains in Estonia managed to increase their revenue only very slightly in 2025, ERR reported. The country’s largest grocery retailer, cooperative network Coop Eesti, reported consolidated revenue of EUR 855.3mn in 2025, which was up 0.2% from 2024. Coop’s market share stood at nearly 23%. Supermarket chain Selver’s annual revenue totalled EUR 622mn (up 0.2%), followed by Maxima Eesti with EUR 601mn (up 0.4%), Rimi Eesti with EUR 484.98mn (up 0.5%), OG Elektra (Grossi Toidukaubad) with EUR 288.23mn (up 14%), and Prisma Peremarket with EUR 207.7mn (up 1%). Coop has altogether 315 stores across Estonia, while Grossi has 87, Maxima 86, Rimi 83, Selver 72, and Prisma 13 stores. Coop will take over Prisma’s hypermarkets from Finland’s S Group (SOK) in 2026.
